Hello,
It is not necessary to seal the blade; simply be gentle and peel the rubber diagonally for the best and safest results. Keep in mind that sometimes this type of damage is inevitable and part of the normal wear and tear of the blade. Often, we find that sealed blades don't let the rubber properly glue onto the wood, so we don't really recommend sealing the blades. We can do it upon request in the order notes section if the customer decides they want this service.
