This is a good question, with a complicated answer. Yes, this paddle is amazing for offensive style. For long pips, it's a bit trickier. The blade is quite fast, and the rebound is strong, so it is difficult to keep the ball on the table. However, the throw angle is very low, so blocking and chopping with long pips are possible. It takes really good control and feeling to make it work as a long pips paddle, but I do have a friend who is using this with long pips successfully at around a 2000 USATT level.
