Hi,
We consider any rubber over 50 degrees to be a hard sponge, but this rubber would be a bit softer then the Bluestar A1 counterpart.

Hello,
I am a huge fan of this rubber and have used it for a while now. I would say its somewhere in between medium-hard and hard. A nice sweet spot.
