- If the sponge is separating from the blade, you can solve this issue with applying a little glue.
- If the rubber is separating from the sponge, along the edge of the paddle, that is probably due to gently grazing the edge of the paddle on the table surface. Try not to pull on the rubber to create more separation. Sometimes a very small dab of Crazy Glue and re-attach loose rubber from the sponge along the edge. Another option is to use wider edge tape to protect the side of the paddle.
- If the rubber is indeed separating from the sponge near the center of the paddle during initial play then you would have a defect which we can verify with and image of a bubble or air pocket. Please forward any images to sean@paddlepalace.com to alleviate this issue.
