The Nittaku Latika blade is composed of five plies of wood, with a combination of Ayous (ply 3-center), Spruce (plies 2 and 4) and Limba (plies 1 and 5) wood. The outermost layer is Limba wood, which provides additional hardness and durability to the blade. This combination of woods creates a blade with a good balance of speed, control, and feeling, making it suitable for players who prefer an all-around style of play.
